ON A ROLL...

AFTER RECENTLY MAKING CHANGES TO THE APPEARANCE AND PERIPHERIES OF THE BLOG, I WASTED NO-TIME BEFORE VISITING GOOGLE TO RESEARCH THE FURTHER, COSMETIC ALTERATIONS I INTEND TO MAKE FOR THE VIEWING PLEASURE OF YOURS AND MINE.
IN DOING SO, I CAME ACROSS AN IMAGE GALLERY, CONTAINING HUNDREDS OF WORKS BY THE ENTRANTS TO A COMPETITION FOR THE RE-DESIGN OF THE CLASSIC 'RIPS' ROLLING PAPERS' PACKAGING TO A THEME OF 'ROAD-TRIPS'.
SOME, OR EVEN MANY, WERE STYLED IN THE 'QUIRKY-MYSPACE-EMO-GETS-PHOTOSHOP-AND-DESIGNS-OWN-LAYOUT' ILK, BUT THERE WERE A FEW THAT I DID APROVE OF.

'LINES AND CURVES' BY JOSEMA CARRASCO:

'GOLDEN HORSES' BY ERY BURNS:

'TUNE IN' BY MARA:

'PICK 'EM UP' BY JAMES STEADMAN:

AND FINALLY, MY PERSONAL FAVOURITE; 'BUT THAT WAS HOURS AGO' BY RORY J MURPHY:

AN INTERESTING PROJECT, ONE THAT, HAD I KNOWN OF AT THE TIME, I WOULD HAVE THOUGHT ABOUT ENTERING AND NOT GOT ROUND TO.
YOU'LL SEE MY RESPONSE TO, AND REASON FOR, ALL THIS SOONER RATHER THAN LATER WITH ANY LUCK.
ONE.
